How We Create and Review Content
CursiveLetters.net is built around practical tools and learning resources. Each page should solve a clear task: creating cursive-style text, understanding handwriting, or practicing it.
Interactive tools
Interactive tools are tested for expected inputs, mobile usability, accessibility, error handling, and clear user feedback. Where a tool can process entered text in the browser, we aim to keep that text out of WordPress storage.
Handwriting resources
Handwriting instruction is kept separate from decorative Unicode cursive. Cursive methods vary, so we avoid presenting one method-dependent convention as a universal rule. When a page discusses movements, joins, or letter families, the wording should make those limits clear.
Worksheets and letterforms
Printable practice resources should use original or appropriately licensed letterforms, maintain one consistent handwriting model, and be checked for A4 and US Letter printing. The current worksheet model uses Playwrite US Modern by TypeTogether under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. A local copy of the license record is retained on the site.
Sources and licensing
When a third-party asset or resource materially affects a tool, we aim to identify the source and license where appropriate. We do not present third-party work as our own. Licensing or attribution concerns can be reported through the Contact page.
Corrections and updates
Pages and tools may be updated when we find an error, improve usability, change a dependency, or receive useful feedback. “Last reviewed” wording is used only when a page has actually been reviewed.
Privacy and trust
Privacy wording should match the current implementation rather than make broad guarantees. See the Privacy Policy for current data-handling disclosures and the Terms of Use for site-use rules.
